here at brazil most remote jobs I see (specially junior) have more than 600 applicants. It’s very exhausting

What are your get job experience?

The day we will truly internalize that major corporations that do not care about us yet need us, is the day that something will change.
I knew the remote culture will be gone ASAP despite all the praising it got from CEOS and stuff, they need to retain their asset value (real estate, equipment etc), they need to feel like they can control you better and unfortunately, I knew that workers wouldn’t say a lot.
This is not black and white, RTO mandates are a big fail \ easily get rid of people without officially firing them, but eventually they are not working.
On the other hand, there is a new wave of companies brewing, companies who understand that you do not need to operate an adult day care to get jobs done, in 10 years, those will be the next FAANG (assuming their products will scale to a certain point)
