The Nordic APIs Generative AI Policy

Nordic APIs has published its official generative AI policy for writers and speakers contributing to the platform. The policy prohibits using AI to write articles or talk content from scratch, while allowing limited acceptable uses such as research assistance, outlining, transcription, translation, and mechanical editing. AI-generated code in tutorials is permitted if functional and properly disclosed. AI tools cannot be cited as sources, and all facts must be human-verified. Speakers must label any AI-generated visuals and ensure their accuracy. The policy is motivated by concerns over content quality, editorial integrity, source hallucinations, intellectual property risks, vendor neutrality, and editorial workflow efficiency.
