Mui Lab announced the Mui Calm Sleep Platform for its Mui Board Gen 2 smart home controller, which will use millimeter-wave radar sensors to track sleep without wearables by monitoring posture and breathing. The system adjusts lighting automatically and offers presleep routines instead of displaying metrics. Add-on mmWave sensors will also enable gesture control from across the room. While initially requiring third-party sensors, a version with built-in sensors is being showcased at CES, with both features rolling out later this year.
