The man who put Doom in a Lego brick is now playing it on a volumetric voxel display

James Brown, a graphics engineer at Weta Workshop, has advanced his hobby of creating innovative displays by building a crystal ball with spinning volumetric light to play *Voxel Doom*. The display operates like a hologram fan but on a 2D panel that spins to create 3D images.
