How to not confuse the hell out of people

In Poland we call this “Model diarrhea”. It is especially painful with mobile phones (Samsung, I’m looking at you). What I don’t understand: having dozens of new models twice a year makes development a nightmare. They are constantly shooting their own developer’s feet. Make 4 models a year, but make them worth.

If I had to buy a laptop it would probably be a Framework one, same goes for Fairphone. I kinda get some of the advantages of single brick design, but if those companies are small in comparison to other vendorsand still pulled it off then monolith of plastic/aluminium and glue is a greedy business choice.
I don’t mind steeper price if I can replace parts, especially phone screen by just ordering new and recycling a broken one.
Every company should have at least one of their “flagship modular” model and sell parts rather than constantly contributing to e-waste, bragging that “well, the case is x0% made of recycled materials”.

First time noticing Framework laptops.

I am always looking for a small laptop, as I use a desktop computer at home and like a small laptop for travelling. Unfortunately vendors seem systematically to remove anything below 14&quot; from their product lines.
I don’t so much are whether it is Windows, macOS, or Linux, as long as it’s small and not heavy.
Unfortunately laptop makers seem to compete mostly on who makes the largest possible piece of electronics these days.
Also, I need a US QWERTY keyboard. And apart from Apple and one or two small Linux laptop vendors, laptop makers simply refuse to sell me one of those on the continent. (MSFT referred me to their Netherlands shop because their keyboards use QWERTY, but it’s not US QWERTY.)
