The principles include concepts like 'long-term greedy' (prioritizing enduring value over short-term gains), 'default to transparency', 'ship constantly', and 'souls intact'. The company also explicitly names its 'mortal enemies': bureaucracy, stagnation, finger-pointing, mediocrity, busywork, unproductive resistance, and a 'no assholes' policy. The principles are shared publicly so potential employees and partners know what to expect from working with Grafana Labs.
