Sadly, sometimes the world of political, social issues and even religion intersect with the world of game development.  My goal with GameFromScratch is to be a place to discuss game development and just game development.  With this recent Godot community firestorm, sadly that intersection of topics cannot be avoided.

Not surprising, given how ideological some people can get. What a shame.

this is what happens when you let idiots breed. these morons have been coddled their ENTIRE lives by horrible parents and when they get out in the real world they are completely unprepared for the realities of existence in a world where mommy and daddy can’t help you.
then you get social media making these idiots think their dimwitted ideas are actually VALID and they make absurd “stands” like this. the age old, “my way or the highway” mentality because they are simply unable to realize that sometimes we just don’t get what we want.
at the end of the day it’s an open source editor. if they honestly push forward with this idiocy, development of godot will fork and real developers will take over and let the cry-babies have their safe-space editor.
