<p>Pivot is definitely a difficult decision that affects both parties, and perhaps JetBrains could just leave Space without updates or even make it open source so that other people can continue to maintain it, but I want to touch on a different topic. A lot of people on the announcement post are sharing how much they love the product and how much they’ve invested in it, but I wonder if they considered the risks before adopting Space and essentially putting all their eggs in one basket… An all-in-one solution is possible in the early stages of a business, but the stack at scale needs to be more distributed to keep the blast radius lower</p>
