As AI becomes a stronger in development, it begs the question: do frameworks and libraries still matter? - I mean, for humans—obviously. But for AI?
The time when AI doesn’t need us to build apps is getting closer. It already can generate specific solutions instantly with raw language, making frameworks and libs feel redundant. Instead, we might see the rise of ProgramItems — small, modular pieces of purpose-built code created dynamically by AI. - Because it still has prompt length limitations.
These ProgramItems would replace traditional libs and frameworks. They will be readable for Meatbags :) and useful for AI.
But will humans always need to review AI code? For now, yes. But in 50 years? But lets talk not about sci-fy but near-future, humans will still guide decisions and ensure quality and fix missunderstanding. But what about language?
<h2>A Language for Humans and AI</h2>
For now, programming languages remain a human choice—be it PHP, Dart, or Python. AI can already adapt to whatever toolkit we like.
In the long term? We could invent / it could invent—a more universal language. Something more readable, and ideal for creating ProgramItems. This new language might compile to bytecode, making it fast and flexible, optimized for both humans and machines.
