Figma has launched a native design agent embedded directly on the canvas, available in beta. Unlike third-party MCP integrations, this agent has deep context about your design system—components, tokens, variables, and standards—and works inside the same file as your team. Key capabilities include generating multiple design directions simultaneously, automating bulk edits (renaming variables, swapping components, applying dark mode), processing and acting on feedback from comment threads, and integrating with Figma Make for code-to-canvas workflows. The agent is fine-tuned for Figma files, requires no separate setup, and supports parallel prompting. It's rolling out gradually in beta (no credits consumed during beta) for Full seat users on Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans.
