Fedora Linux 44 is now available. Key highlights include GNOME 50 on Workstation, KDE Plasma 6.6 with a new login manager and setup wizard, Wine NTSYNC kernel module support for improved Windows app and game compatibility, MariaDB 11.8 as the new default version, OpenSSL certificate loading improvements, and Btrfs subvolume replacing the /boot partition in Fedora Cloud images. Existing users can upgrade easily, and fresh install media is available for all editions including Workstation, KDE, Atomic Desktops, and various spins.
