The FBI is investigating a hacker who embedded malware in multiple video games published on Steam over the past two years. The games identified include BlockBlasters, Chemia, Dashverse/DashFPS, Lampy, Lunara, PirateFi, and Tokenova. The FBI is seeking victims who may have been infected. This follows a pattern of similar incidents in 2025 where functional but malware-laden games were used as Trojan horses to steal gamers' credentials. Valve has not commented.
