The thing is, if a company is actually reachable through a contact form or via email or any way else and answers in a reasonable amount of time, i will be very loyal with said company, especially if it is not the standard in that industry.
A service that fits this explanation for example is <a href="http://statichost.eu" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">statichost.eu</a>. Its a european based netlify alternative that is brutally simple and just works.
They started charging for private repositories, i contacted them, they gave me a discount which i did not ask for, i just gave valuable feedback because i was about to leave the service and now i am a loyal customer that even mentions them here and there when talking online.
Another one is <a href="http://df.eu" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">df.eu</a>. Those guys also answer reasonably fast and are easily reachable by phone last time i tried.

Canva is an extra “f**k off” support page. You have to log in to contact support. Its all fine and dandy until you renew your google certificate and it breaks SSO on canva so you cant login, so you then cant contact support. Isnt it lovely?

Devils advocate here: to reply to every single question via form costs money. And to answer many stupid questions repeatedly is a lot of wasted money. Thats why companies try to hide the form as much as possible. I dont like it either, but I get it. I’ve been there. I have a simple contact form with explicitly listed cases where i cannot and will not reply. Yet i recieve several questions from this category each week. Just because people are lazy (it is not paid service and by asking me as a programmer instead of asking the community they achieve literally nothing). So some middle ground is needed.

And definitely Amazon’s, even though the have a robust customer support system, they hide links and create hoops to filter out the amount of support they have to give.
Granted, a knowledge base can be very useful, companies with a lot of customer support needs usually have each issue be unique or their products and services have major flaws that affect everyone.
Good products and services can have straight-forward customer service without worrying because there won’t be much need for people to contact them.
