The effort to make a breakthrough cancer therapy cheaper

CAR-T therapies, a breakthrough in cancer treatment, are expensive but efforts are being made to make them cheaper and more accessible. These efforts include producing the therapy in countries with cheaper manufacturing costs, producing the therapies in medical centers, and developing off-the-shelf and in vivo CAR-T therapies.
