Humans can create slop as well, just look at Microsoft Teams which has been broken way before AI.

Well, this article just said that AI is imperfect. I prefer sloppy code from humans than from AI generated ones. At least the context of why a human developer proceeded with a certain coding pattern is already there. If it’s AI, you risk hallucinations when you asked it leading to more bugs.
