Mobile development for Android and iOS has become increasingly frustrating due to frequent OS updates requiring new compliance measures that complicate codebases. Developers face restrictive actions if their apps aren't updated in time, taking away from feature development and inflating costs. Many developers find the constant hoop-jumping and convoluted design patterns discouraging, leading them to switch to web development where they can build faster with fewer constraints. Google and Apple's control over app ecosystems and mandatory in-app purchases further dissuade developers. As a result, many are leaving mobile development in favor of the web.

I love your arguments, but businesswise, this is done to support users who are increasingly adopting usage of mobile as their main devices.
For example, on my company’s blog, we get 80% visitors from Mobile. We are considering building a mobile app to make the access easier. Most of times you find that there is no choice.

I haven’t spent much time developing native mobile apps, but it seems like PWAs are a good alternative, as long as your app isn’t too dependent on app stores for promotion purposes.
On the other hand accessing device capabilities like GPS or camera would probably be much smoother on native apps. It would be amazing if PWAs are improved to have similar UX as native apps, this way developers would break free off of Google’s and Apples chains

I’m in the Bahamas and I’m a new developer this is sad to read, but I’m still not going to stop. I’m doing both web and app dev.
I am making a sacrifice because I’m starting my own business and I’m just developing some interesting and useful stuff for the bahamas, but maybe we need a third party app store HAHAHAHAHAHA
I know that sounds bad, but you guys are more experienced than me. How can you make this possible???
And make it popular fast?
Can you create an application (like Play Store and App Store) that allows users to download non-iOS and non-Android apps?
Can you make it safe for users so they don’t get hacked or viruses? :)
PS: whoever is the first person to solve this problem is sure to become super rich!!! :)
