Tabnine is an awesome AI code generation that works directly in your IDE. While Tabnine works with several IDEs, it didn't support full-function completions in Vim (Neovim, to be precise), which is my IDE of choice. Neovim is designed to support procedural programming with data-description facilities.

The day I chose Lua over Javascript

The title is a bit clickbaity… The grand conclusion is that JS is not the end all programming language and that there are different languages for different tasks.
It’d be just as silly as writing an article saying “the day I chose C++ over javascript” and then the articles went on about how javascript isn’t the best language to make full featured 3D video games for the latest playstation.
Otherwise it’s a fun little read about the struggles of dealing with poorly documented APIs but the premise is nonsense.
