This nightmare is not being lived only by juniors. At the other end, people with years of deep experience are struggling, finding themselves “unqualified” for unrealistic job requirements and punishing interview processes, which end up more often than not with a silent finish. I appreciate Marcel’s positive encouragement here, but the fun-first salary later does not help pay the overdue bills. And as a seasoned professional, must one keep smashing away at “side projects” to prove themselves beyond their resume? How do we all get out of this cycle?

I don’t know about you guys, but in my country, AI doesn’t have that big of an impact yet. The unemployment rate increasing is due to incapable government officials, so we don’t need AI to make people jobless lol.
