Wayang is a unifying data processing framework with a cross-platform optimizer that integrates systems like Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and TensorFlow through a three-layer architecture.

<p>I love you, Apache Software Foundation. Keep up the great work. Also, why do all of these Event or Message Scheduling and Orchestration systems, have their own protocols like MQP, MQTT, and STOMP? Event and Task Scheduling Systems, usually have a Configuration File Format for Data Interchange like JSON, YAML or TOML - Sometimes, combined with a HTTP API or they are fully Embedded as a Library. These custom and complex protocols hinder adoption, because parsing them only adds complexity and Security Vulnerabilities and they are often, overly complex. This the reason why GraphQL and Protocol Buffers, are not popular, aside from the unnecessary Protocol Buffer Compiler. If anyone could explain this design decision, I would greatly appreciate it.</p>
