I am not able to distinguish between 120Hz and 180Hz, but there is a significant difference between 60Hz and 120Hz. Just watching the mouse pointer move at 60Hz feels choppy to me. There is no debate over 30fps vs 60fps, it’s just some people trolling other people.

Given that modern TVs can now do 60 FPS, that should be the new target FPS. Anything greater than 60 FPS is for people try-harding multiplayer games.
