Expo has announced its first-ever Expo App Awards, a competition celebrating the best apps built with Expo and React Native. Submissions are open October 6–31, 2025, across five categories: App of the Year, Most Creative, Community's Choice, Largest Scale, and Most Innovative. Any published app using Expo is eligible regardless of when it was built. Winners will be judged by the Expo team on design, technical excellence, performance, and innovation. Finalists are announced November 6 and winners on November 13. Each category winner receives a custom Norbauer mechanical keyboard, exclusive apparel, and recognition across Expo's channels.
