The 2024 Golang Developer RoadMap

This post is basically just trying to sell you a starting out GoLang Course. Annoying no real substance to this. You don’t explain in enough detail after you complete learning the language or the rest of the road map and where to get those resources from like you promised at the beginning of the article.

The only roadmap for go needed is either <a href="https://go.dev/ref/spec" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">this</a> or <a href="https://gobyexample.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">this</a>. Rest is just trying to build something using the language.

Ironic that it says the roadmap is for 2024 specifically, but when you go to the Github where this roadmap is based off of, it hasn’t been updated in 3 years <a href="https://github.com/darius-khll/golang-developer-roadmap" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">https://github.com/darius-khll/golang-developer-roadmap</a>
The article itself is missing resources, but the Github has some.
As a whole, the roadmap isn’t too bad. I’d argue the sequence could be better, but that’s a personal preference. Like, I’d argue that you should learn writing tests for your code before you learn real-time communication

Fiber/Echo as must known? Wut? <code>net/http</code> it is.
ORM? Just, why?
Testify is also unrecommended by one of its authors, Mat Ryer.
