Tencent has acquired a 51.4 percent controlling stake in Kuro Games, the developer of Wuthering Waves. This makes Tencent the only external shareholder, but Kuro will reportedly continue to operate independently. Tencent is known for its investments in various major game companies including Epic Games, Remedy Entertainment, and Riot Games.
