The bots are bypassing the Fastly CDN cache and hitting origin servers directly, targeting locale/language pages. As a temporary mitigation, language support is being disabled while the team rearchitects how locale pages are cached. Users needing gem data are encouraged to use the official database exports instead of scraping the site.
