The PHP Foundation has received a grant from the Linux Foundation to fund an Ecosystem AI Security Engineer role. Volker will spend six months full-time on improving PHP open source ecosystem security — helping the community report, find, and fix security issues, improving detection and prevention tooling across ecosystems, and educating the community for long-lasting impact.
