GitHub Copilot's remote control feature is now generally available on github.com and the GitHub Mobile app, with new support for VS Code and JetBrains IDEs. Developers can start an agent session in VS Code or the CLI, then monitor and steer it from any device using the `/remote on` command. The feature enables real-time progress tracking, mid-session instruction changes, permission approvals, and full pull request workflows from a phone. Sessions are private by default and work with any repository or directory.
