Tailscale Services is now generally available, graduating from beta with several major additions. Key features include native tsnet integration allowing Go applications to register directly with a Tailscale Service and manage their own network lifecycle, Kubernetes Operator egress proxy support for outbound connections to tailnet services, custom DNS names for resources where Tailscale can't be installed (managed databases, third-party APIs), per-service audit logs and network flow log integration for observability, declarative JSON-based configuration for GitOps workflows, and access control policy testing for services. Virtual IPs are now automatically distributed to clients without requiring subnet route acceptance. Available on all plans with up to 10 services for free users.
