Tailscale is updating its pricing structure with two main changes. The free Personal plan is being expanded to support up to six users (previously a paid Personal Plus feature), and Personal Plus is being retired. On the business side, usage-based billing is being replaced with seat-based pricing for more predictability, and self-serve plans now include more features like SCIM, device posture, user management APIs, and webhooks. Existing paid customers keep their current plans at the same price for at least 12 months, with no forced transitions during that period.
