Tailscale's March 2026 product update covers changes from late January through late March 2026. Key highlights include the Winter Update Week releases: Aperture (AI gateway), Peer Relays GA, Services GA, and workload identity federation GA. Client v1.96.4 brings new CLI commands (tailscale wait, tailscale ip --assert), workload identity token auto-generation, Peer Relay throughput improvements, and a memory leak fix. macOS gains a windowed UI and a security fix for a command injection vulnerability (TS-2026-001).
