Tails 7.7

Tails 7.7 has been released with a new feature that detects outdated Secure Boot certificates, notifying users whose computers need updates before the older 2011-era Microsoft certificates expire in June 2026. The release also fixes a security issue where the /root folder was not properly restricted to the root user. Automatic upgrades are available from Tails 7.0 or later.
