Tails 7.7.1 is an emergency release addressing important security vulnerabilities in Tor Browser. It updates Tor Browser to 15.0.11 (fixing several Firefox 140.10.1 vulnerabilities), updates Thunderbird to 140.10.0, and removes the ability to boot ISO images from USB sticks. The ISO change saves space and prevents confusion, as USB images have been the recommended installation method since 2019. Automatic upgrades are available from Tails 7.0 or later.
