I’ve used your CLI for a month, and it’s currently the weakest option on the market. Even with a company PRO account, I’ve switched to paying for <a href="http://z.ai" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">z.ai</a> via OpenCode, by my self, because your tool is too slow and unreliable. It has high latency even on Flash models, frequent random errors, and no clear quota tracking. Please look at OpenCode for ways to improve.

Being able to inject context and enforce rules inside the agent loop is much more powerful than wrapping scripts around it.
The security use case (blocking secrets) and workflow loops like Ralph show how this can turn Gemini CLI into a controllable dev assistant, not just a command tool.

The main problem with Google products is that you never know what you’re paying for and how much it will cost. For me, this is a red flag to avoid using any paid Google products.
