SUSE has partnered with evroc to launch a sovereign cloud service based on Kubernetes, set to launch in Q1 2026 and hosted in Europe. The platform uses SUSE Linux Enterprise or SUSE Linux Micro with SUSE Rancher Prime, complying with the EuroStack framework for European digital infrastructure. This initiative addresses growing European concerns about data sovereignty and dependence on US-based cloud providers, particularly in light of the CLOUD Act.
