Google Cloud announces Compliance Manager in preview, a new capability integrated into Security Command Center that provides a unified platform for managing security, privacy, and compliance across cloud infrastructure. The AI-powered tool automates monitoring, detection, and reporting through three phases: configure (express compliance intent using frameworks and controls), monitor (real-time visibility and reporting), and audit (automated evidence generation for internal and external audits). It supports standard frameworks like CIS, SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST-800-53, and allows customization through CloudControls and custom frameworks.
