Straude is a new open-source tool that tracks Claude Code and Codex session stats — tokens consumed, spend, and models used — and surfaces them on a global leaderboard. Inspired by the 'tokenmaxxing' trend (where AI token consumption is becoming a status metric among AI-native builders), it lets developers compare their usage, build streaks, and learn from top AI builders. Run via `npx straude` with zero install or config, privacy-first (only aggregate stats leave your machine), and completely free.
