No. I want to live in a world where paraplegics can create art outside of their dreams. The use of limbs should not be required. That’s pretty ableist. Stop complaining and start evolving. Use technology to create more ambitious art rather than gatekeeping.

As an ex-artist myself I could not agree more about the painful situation artists are in. It is going to get worse and worse for artists as time goes on.
But unfortunately, despite legal and ethical issues, I don’t see stable diffusion or any of these similar popular tools going away anytime soon. Once the breakthrough happened, it was a done deal.

Respectfully disagree with the author’s stance on AI-generated images. While it’s important to consider the impact on artists, AI can also enhance creativity and open up new possibilities. Let’s embrace innovation while supporting artists’ rights.
Don’t be a Luddite.

You hate what you don’t understand isn’t it? In my opinion you got some good points here man, and its always the same since the witches back in the medieval times. You have 2 choices here, you blame AI and keep doing what you do and live your life without even considering a step into understanding it for your daily usage and benefits, or you decide to leverage your amazing designer skills and get say 30 inspirations generated by AI for your next masterpiece. Believe me that there are already people hanging AI generated paitings on their houses. I am a software engineer, and not that good one to be honest, and with the advent of AI I questioned myself if I wanted to keep learning to code or no, because i ve felt like you in more than 1 occasion, so glad I stayed and learned to code with AI as menthor. My coding skills went from amateur to production ready in 2 months.
