Stop Staring at a Blank Deck: How I Use Claude Code + Marp to Think Through Presentations

A workflow for building presentations using Claude Code and Marp (Markdown-to-slides tool). The process has four stages: Brainstorm (Claude interviews you about goals and structure), React (Claude generates a full Marp Markdown draft), Iterate (refine via conversation or VS Code with live preview), and Export (to .md, .html, or .pptx). A reusable Claude Code skill file encodes preferred conventions like CSS palette, breadcrumb navigation, and section dividers, so every deck follows the same polished format automatically. Setup takes about 5 minutes via npm and a skills installer.
