Stop saying “technical debt”

<p>Tech debt is the main reason for me to get to work every day. We are dealing with a massive enterprise size jQuery spaghetticode monolith that is somehow holding together as we are running a rewamp and migration from the ground up starting from dba. The tech debt part here is that the provider is pushing their poor juniors into the monstrosity and these sentennials are suddenly faced with gazillion lines of uncommented jQuery they all have skipped because react is what kewl kids code.  The senior is quite overwhelmed and it seems juniors come and go thru a revolving door. Due leagality issues we had to do quit big changes and push them into production and as it is a monolith it was like taking that solo piece from the middle of the Jenga tower.  My reality on the subject is that the amount of “legacy code” there is still wild and free is creating massive trouble with the upcoming juniors =&gt; Tech Debt</p>
