Hello, i started learning game development half a year ago, started with python and pygame, it was perfect for a finishing project i had to do, made a small copy of mario bros, first 4 levels and right now I’m thinking about learning c# and unity, got any suggestions where to start and where to learn from?

Youtube has quite good resources to start with unity.
You can checkout tutorials by Brackeys.
Those are good for beginners. Just check that you use the same Unity version which the tutorial is using.

<a href="https://learn.unity.com/course/create-with-code" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Unity</a> has a very good basic course, besides that, Brackeys have several cool videos from basic to advanced.

Upgrading to a more performant game engine like Unity is great especially with it’s big community. And with your experience in using PyGame I’m sure you’ve encountered DaFluffyPotato on YouTube and his projects so I’ll recommend going in depth in the current game engine you’re using and until you have an unaddressable issue with PyGame that Unity can handle(most likely performance 😅)
