Spotify is struggling to get Apple to approve its iOS updates in the EU after the European Commission ruled that Apple had abused its dominant position by preventing developers from advertising cheaper subscription deals outside of the iOS platform. The EU's Digital Markets Act (DMA) has forced Apple to make changes to its App Store, but Spotify is calling Apple's compliance 'malicious' and refusing to adopt the optional changes.
