Spotify, Epic Games, and others pen letter to EC, claiming Apple has made a ‘mockery’ of the DMA

Epic Games, Spotify, and other developers have written a letter to the European Commission stating that Apple has made a mockery of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) and urging the E.C. to take action. Apple's new DMA rules have been criticized for not creating a level playing field and introducing a Core Technology Fee that imposes additional costs on developers. The letter calls for alternative app stores and sideloading to be allowed.
