South African Government Pension Data Leak Fears Spark Probe

South African government officials are investigating reports of a data breach by the LockBit ransomware gang that resulted in the leak of 668GB of sensitive pension data from the Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA). The South African Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is also involved in the investigation.
