honestly, these AI hypes aren’t worth the hype at all, especially when they’re talking about replacing devs’ jobs. Our job role can’t be fully automated and trusted to these bots. Software development is more than just writing code. Moreover, the issue of internal and private data being shared with a 3rd party is a no go zone for many companies.

AI will not steal our jobs. So far it adds more jobs, and the amount of work.
It will raise the barrier to entry though for Junior Developers. In the long term, we even might have a shortage of experienced developers due to that.
It is even worse. You still need humans to train the AI. It cannot be self-taught. Because AI &lt;- language model &lt;- statistic model is never 100% accurate. And if it will teach itself the accuracy will decline.
