Saul Latorre Sebastian, Lead Animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks, shared behind-the-scenes reference footage he filmed with his own mother for the opening scene of the animated film GOAT. The scene depicts the main character attending a sports match with his mom as a child, and Latorre Sebastian described it as the longest shot he has worked on and one of the most personally meaningful. GOAT, released in February, follows a young goat named Will Harris pursuing his dream of playing roarball, a basketball-inspired sport, in a world of anthropomorphic animals.
