Sony and Tencent have settled their legal dispute over Light of Motiram, which Sony claimed was a clone of its Horizon franchise. The settlement terms remain confidential, and the case has been dismissed with prejudice, preventing Sony from pursuing the same matter again. Sony originally sued in July 2025 after Tencent allegedly pitched to make a Horizon game, was rejected, then released Light of Motiram. Tencent defended itself by arguing Sony was trying to monopolize genre conventions. Light of Motiram remains delisted from Steam and Epic Games Store.
