The sixth annual Solidity Developer Survey collected 1,095 responses from 87 countries. Key findings: Foundry is now the dominant framework at 57%, stack-too-deep errors remain the top pain point (especially for experienced developers at 65%), and 88% of respondents use AI tools monthly but 45% distrust the output. Core Solidity has a visibility problem with 70% of respondents unfamiliar with it. The team is addressing pain points via SSA CFG codegen to eliminate stack-too-deep errors, the ethdebug standard for debugging, and an EIP to increase contract size limits. Year-over-year, developer experience sentiment improved with 73% reporting improvement, up from 67% in 2024.
