Software is still if statements, while loops, and assignment statements — Sequence, Selection, and Iteration. Software hasn’t change all that much since 1945 when Turing wrote the first lines of code for an electronic computer. The Single Responsibility Principle is one of the ways we keep the code simple. Simple code is both open and closed.
