The best way to sell a product is to make a prospective buyer feel like they are getting more for less. What better way to sell an AI tool than to make a company feel like it can replace their software engineering team for a fraction of the cost, even if it’s a lie?

What is your suggestion to developers then? Because there is no way to be found if the only way most people know how to apply for jobs is with a résumé.

The AI bubble will burst. IMO next years will bring some regulations, especially in EU. It is a great help for developers, but it won’t replace us. The next job market El Dorado is ahead of us ;)
