I use Todo Tree extension on VSCode to keep track these tasks (usually code clean up) for later “after doing what’s on the timeline”.

Indeed. I’ve learn over the years that there is such a thing as “work stress.” Basically its the same concept. Don’t hold off on tasks/work. Prioritize your work load and get it done.
Try to multitask-ish. In all honesty there is no such thing as “TRUE MULTITASKING”, we are not quantum computers. However, you can minimize the time it takes to get multiple things done on you list.
For example in the IT tech world, you may have a laptop that needs to be reimage, another laptop that needs diagnosis, and a EU (End-User) that requires you to remote in to look over a pc. You can go ahead and start the reimage (takes roughly 1.5 hours to complete, and start the diagnostics test on the other laptop (usually requires some batch files with sfc /scannow | diskchecks | DISM…etc. While that is running you can reach out to the EU to remote in the laptop. By the time you finish up with the EU’s pc, the other laptop should be about done with diagnosis and so on.
Comes down to prioritizing your time.
