Audi's Edge Cloud for Production (EC4P) project transforms traditional manufacturing by replacing thousands of hardware components with a centralized, virtualized server cluster. This software-defined approach enables real-time control with 100 microseconds network latency, allowing virtualization of Industrial PCs, PLCs, and safety equipment.
